I have a thing for Ed Brown 1911s. I have four of them. Here is my latest, which is a Special Forces Commander with Bobtail:

It also has a bare slide (no "Special Forces" marking on the right side), slim grip screw bushings, AlumaGrips Tactical Checkered grips, and single-sided safety.

A guy can dream can't he Mike? I too have taken a long look at the Nighthawks. I have decided to send my LBC Thunder Ranch Special out for some extra bells and whistles. I haven't sent it to the smith yet, but when I get it done there will be some sweet before and after pics.
