I owned the Kel-Tec for years before upgrading to the PF-9. It was kept loaded with the Corbon 60 grain JHP and would perform flawlessly. For practice it was shot mostly with Fiocchi 60gr JHP, any with zero problems. I owned this gun for about 8 years and it never had a reliability issue. Last time I shot was my semi annual change of ammo and I pulled it out of the pocket holster it lived in and shot the mag empty. The first shot was accompanied by a big cloud of pocket fluff as it blew out 6 months of pocket lint, never stuttered. Most of the complaints about reliability seemed to stem from the gun being loosely held, a no-no with any semi-auto. No, they aren't pretty...but they work. The Ruger may work well too but as a friend of mine often says he doesn't want to be the one to do R&D on a newly designed gun...wait till they are out for 6 months and see what people say about them.
