Thinking about picking up one of these, but what is the differance b/w models #130 & 135? Is this the color of the scales? What model is the green/black G-10?

Thanx

The 730 models have the red and black scales--the 735 have the dark green and black. All the scales are G-10.

If you can find one, go for the 730CFHS! Carbon fiber scales! I've seen them on the Trade forums for close to $100 before, in fact, that's how much I paid for mine.:D

I'll second the carbon fiber model if you can find one. Besides looking nicer IMO, it also offers M2 for steel. Sweet package. I have #428 in my pocket right now :D

My only experiance with M2HS is in the BM Nimravus...The steel is hardened to 60-62 HRC, but BM says is can be hardened to 65. Why don't they then?

The 730 series is one off my favorites. I have the 735 (green & black) and a 732S (solid black G-10). I carry it quite often. :)

to Nuke585.
Sometimes maximum hardness may decrease blade's ability to hold edge. Edge just becomes too brittle
