A large dagger.

10.5" blade, Damascus fittings, pretty nice mammoth ivory, 16" oal.

What ya'll think?

That's a stunning dagger! The blue mammoth ivory really sets off that beautiful Damascus.

Geez Don, that's beautiful! With all the mosaic damascus and powder metal and EDM damascus and whatever else the new thing is, it can be easy to forget how amazingly beautiful an exceptionally done random pattern can be.

Nailed it. :D

WoW! That's something.
Like everything about it, especially the blade profile and finial treatment.

Great ivory, is that from the Roland Quinby stash?

Wow, I looked at that image for a log time to digest all those amazing details!

Impressive!

Thanks folks!

Jon, no hammer marks, just damascus pattern :)

Burt, I've done all the mosaic and power stuff but still like a good random as good as any. Thanks man!

Kevin, different, secret source. But I do have some of the 'Roland Quinby stash' also. :D

This one is indeed different, but every bit as awesome as the rest of your work Don!!:thumbup:WAY up!
