Something about the Blur?

I guess it's time to take the detent out of the cf blur if the detent is functional in er.

AMEN! Love my Blur De-assisted.
Do yourself an even bigger favor and take out the torsion bar. I gained a whole new appreciation for the quality of the Blur the first time I opened it manually. I will never go back to assisted!

I listen to folks on this forum and spend way too much. I got an Olive drab with black blade Blur (1670OLBLK) for my sister. She loves it. I might get an S30V one just to have a Blur for me.

We need some pics!

Wow i own like 7 Blurs. There by far my favorite folder i own. They melt in your hand, super good blade shapes and ive never seen a knife that got a tanto as right as this. Your missing out big time if you have never owned a blur lol

So i see the outstanding reactions the blur has gotten on here. I for one do not own one nor have i ever had one in hand. Is there something i am missing with these? Is it something i need to just go ahead and buy to understand all the hype? Just wondering

I didn't get it until I bought my first one either. I waited way to long to get in on such a great blade. The stonewashed S30V is by far my current favorite. It's just a phenomenal blade.

Whoops! Went one key too high on the keypad there, i meant 154, sorry to worry you

I was just kidding. No worries. :D

CPM-154 is a joyous steel to use. The Knockout was my EDC until I got this piece, and before then I was using ZTs at work (primarily the 0560 and 0550). The Knockout is really robust for how slim it is, and it's a fantastic shape. However having an aluminum handle with CF inserts, a very slight recurve on a CPM-154 steel blade is just perfect, and this thing is strong. I put a 34 degree edge on it, and it cuts like a dream. The slight recurve is handy for stripping wire of all gauges, and the edge holds up for that kind of work just fine. It's crazy how well this steel responds to a strop also.

Why are you people still reading this!? Buy one!

I swear he bribes the mailman, I have gotten packages from him two days after ordering on several occasions. Pretty impressive from OR to SC.

Wow! Im not too far from you, and and i am also a Tigers fan, but not the ones in Death Valley haha
