Something Different from Bob

I just got this knife in this weekend, a convex ground Dozier General Utility in Bob's marvelous D2. And I thought his hollow grinds were sharp!!!

Looks sweet Buzz... sounds like a tailor made combo for you; Dozier D2 and convex grind. I'm loooking forward to your review of this one. Does she have a name yet? Use her hard!

Buzz, is Bob doing convex grind now or are you all still testing it? When I ordered my K-4 I was told that they did not do convex grind. That was over a month ago.

Testing is all done, and the knives are great. If you give Linda a call, she should be able to change your order over to a convex grind without a problem.

That is one excellent looking knife. I think I like this convex grind even more than Bob's normal hollow grind.

Thanks for the info Buzz!! Called Linda and my K-4 will now come with a convex grind. Buzzbait,you're the reason I checked out Bob's knives in the first place. I saw your stag handled (K-4 I believe)and started looking into his knives. I got the wilderness sheath also. Thanks for the pic and post.

What is the Wilderness sheath? If that's the kydex sheath with the nylon webbing for the belt loop, then that's what I have coming tomorrow.
