isn't it weird how your mind messes with you sometimes?

i've been edc'ing a waved endura for the past few months, and i've absolutely loved it. i decided to pick up another spyderco a few weeks ago, and went with a native. i've always thought of the endura as a medium sized knife, but when i went back to it after a few weeks of carrying the native, it seemed huge.

anyone else experience this kind of thing?
 
All the time. I tend to switch off from time to time, generally carrying a knife long enough to get completely familiar with it. When I finally got a Military, I was almost suprised by how large it was. Since I've been carrying it a lot, most other knives feel tiny. The Millie feels completely normal.

So the mental image works both ways. By the way, put a Military blade next to the Endura's ... the Endura actually is a big knife!
 
Imagine my surprise when I decide to EDC my Caly Jr. for a day instead of my wee little Navigator!
 
I was EDCing a military, but i recently got a d2 paramilitary and have been using that. I decided to use the millie again and it did seem really huge. I do love that knife:D
 
When I first got the Spin, after carrying your average size Leek, and comparing it to the Delica I also got in that order, the Spin seemed tiny and useless, but once I got to know it, it really is a little big knife.
 
Exactly. After letting go of my balisongs (I even EDC'ed 4.5" blade) and carried SAK for few months, getting another smaller balisong (3.5" blade) still feel very big!
