I finished this today. What do ya'll think of it?

Wow. I wasn't sure what was all over the blade. Then I studied it a little bit, and realized that it's a reflection of your hand.

Nice mirror finish!

Very cool! How well does it hold an edge?

I'm not sure yet. I think it is .40 % carbon which means it will not hold an edge for long. It is more for the novelty of it. I have done some research and RR spikes range from .20% to .60% carbon. The newer spike with a point instead of a wedge tip are the lower carbon ones. I have heard many different stories as to what the headstamps mean. I'm not sur which to believe.

Thanx, guys. I had fun making it. I also had a heck of a time with it.
No blood, just me waving goodbye to it. I made it for a friend.
I started another one this evening. Let's see how much I learned from this one.
So far it has taken me 45 minutes to get where it took over 2 hours before.
