Holy hell I never knew any hunk of metal could inspire such bitter jealousy. Things I've heard since posting pics of my new Busse knives on other forums:

"Overpriced"
"Money wasted, could have bought a Ka-Bar"
"sissy knife"
"You'll never use it"

Frankly if I knew it would be this damn entertaining I would have bought one a long time ago!

I thought I knew what a knife was............that was before I bought my first BUSSE. I've done things with mine that would destroy other "knives".

Congrats!

That's the spirit!

Haters gonna hate.

What are these 'other forums' you speak of???

I try to buy users. It makes it a lot easier to get out there and love on them.

Awwww, but it's so much fun to take a new, shiny, pristine and unblemished Busse out of its little cardboard sheath, thunk it into its new kydex or leather home in your belt, head out into the woods and try to BEAT THE SNOT OUT OF IT! Each little scrape, each new scratch, the gradual slight smoothing of the scales...all due to being wielded by your hand...this makes the knife uniquely yours and this is what this knife was MADE for! It wasx born to cut/hack/slice/chop in the great outdoors! Or in the garage. Or the basement. Don't baby your pretty new Busse! Use it!

But then again, you can get a good user for less money than a safe queen.:D

I try too. The problem is one can find use for all the different styles and sizes before you know it you have dozens and you need use outlets so you start using a Battle Mistress for buttering toast and so on.:thumbup:

As for the haters....Oh Well.....more for us.

The proof is in the pudding
Busse basic 9 takes a ton of beating till it breaks (9 part video)

Look at how the Ka-Bar broke:

And the BK 9

I like Kabar, but IMHO they are not at all in the same league as Busse

I think a lot of people are not aware of all those destruction tests since they were done so long ago. People do not understand what a tough knife really means.
