You know, David, I was gonna order another long sheath and was thinking of doing just that, except the D-rings would only be about 3 holes apart, wearing on my side (as opposed to top and bottom, which would be better for slung on the back).

good thing about these is you can bolt them wherever you like.
and use any sling you like.
