I picked up one of the Benchmade Mini-Ares Stryker Autos over here in the PX today. I'm going to carry and use it as my EDC folder and see how it works out. It's a high-quality little dude, that's for sure! It has a drop point, partially-serrated 154CM steel blade a little under 3" and a crisp action. I'll let you know how it works out as an EDC.

Wheres the pics:D

Just kidding I can view it online.

I hope it serves you well.

Be safe over there:thumbup:

Will do, Tony! Thanks. I've been wanting to get one of the smaller autos and see how it works for EDC. So far, I really like it. It's a nice, light knife...and that means I'll have ti with me if I need it!

Another update: so far I am really liking my Mini-Ares Stryker Auto! Although not exactly a "survival" task, I was setting up a downlink antenna on top of a building at a military base near Mosul today and had to cut a length of 550 cord that was in the way. My left hand was preoccupied with the antenna base and I had to cut the cord...out came the Mini-Ares' blade with a flick of the button, and the cord was sliced! Problem solved. It was a VERY dusty environment today, but the Mini-Ares came through with flying colors.
