Something New! What Do You Think?

Very much looking forward to these. My four gets the least amount of use simply because the scales just don't feel right to me.

How is the fit of these compared to the stock scales? I've always been impressed at how well the ESEE scales match the knife.

The fit on the prototypes have been very good. These are done by CNC of course & the guy that is doing them has extensive experience at CNC programming & production (That's his day job at General Motors).

They look great but they will look even better when they are on some of my blades!!! LOL. Thanx for the sneak peek and heads up, cant wait to get some....

I want to also mention that I am not trying to compete with ESEE Knives or infer that their knives are somhow lacking... they are not. The purpose of offering these handles is to provide more choices that will compliment the fine ESEE line. Everyone benefits when there are more options for the customer & more interest generated for the main product line.

While this is stictly a project of t-k-c, I talked with Jeff about it at the get-go & he has been very supportive for which I appreciate.

ESEE Knives is truely guided by the principle of complete customer satisfaction & it's Jeff, Mike, Shon & Patricia that make it happen!

Looks like a great option, especially for those that could use extra handle length.

While I'm perfectly happy with the scales that came on my DT-4, these are pretty cool looking.

Nice work Dale!

This fixes the only major flaw in the ESEE line of knives... handle length. Perfect product!

TKC, I've been waiting over a year for someone to do this. But I just dropped 120 dollars on a 3/16, 4.5 inch with choil Howling Rat instead. Had I known, I would have waited.

OH Boy. And I am tryin so very hard to pay off bills. When I do ?? I need one of those!! Awsome job Dale. OK now I know for a Fact>! ESEE is addicting! Enjoy edgy

IMHO, the handles from ESEE Knives are perfect for what they are intended for and that is to provide a compact yet full size knife for tactical & survival situations. My sporting/field use handles will actually add to the usefulness of the knife by making it more versatile.

Your mitts must be smaller than mine! :D But, I do understand the design characteristics of the knives. Sadly, I just don't use them for what they were designed for... but the 3 and 4 are great bush knives!

Can't wait to see these come out!
