like all my busses, i want to use it. however ive never had a number 1 before.


if i could afford two right now, it would be an easy choice.

but im thinking i could wait until the bcs has them and decide then. no rush to use it right now, i have my cg and batac.

Save it, you will get another at some time. For some reason the resale on Knife #1 is always worth more. A Busse is good enough to last a life time, so really you only need one if all you want to do is actually use it. How many different ways can one chop stuff anyways? You have users; now save this one for value and future profit.

I would use it if I had it. However, I would certainly never sell it, whereas I would not necessarily consider something with a higher number to be something I would never sell.

the HOGASH is gonna get beat on for sure. havent decided if i am going to keep the cg yet.

i really like the le's thin-ness, and it would probably make a better camp knife than the cg, since i would mainly use it for food prep.


but i have to keep it, right? i mean, who could sell any #1 after all the effort?

I've done that. You end up liking the user and selling the safe queen.

Nothing like strapping on a knife and spending a couple of days in the woods. You come out with a greater appreciation for the knife. It makes it more....yours when you have put marks on it and knocked down the resale value a little.

Thats what it comes down to for me. Safe queens always have one foot out the door but the users are here to stay.

My LE is going to be my go-to all arounder and get well beaten on. In my opinion it would be a shame to let a blade design that perfect stay pristine.
