Thanks for the comments everyone. I just hope he appreciates it like we would (although, I doubt it, our appreciation of knives borders on the obsessive).

As I have said before, he IS a great boss. Heck, he's put up with me all this time!

The cap lifter was interesting. Trying to get a useable implement out of a TL-29 screwdriver blade is a bit tricky. And although field tested ;) , it hasn't been through any type of long-term trials. It may not see much action, he is more a wine man these days. And yes, the covers are ebony. I thought of throwing some threading on the bolsters, but sometimes simple is just better, ya know?
