These are a few of my favorite things:thumbup:

Very beautiful. Where did you go hiking?

p.s. The picture of the rock looks just like a lions head :)

Hollow...you have just *got* to get off the broken trail...

Beautiful...next year...I'd like ot reserve a spot with you on a trip.

Dolly Sods Wilderness.

Good Call! That's the Lions Head Cliffs off or Rocky Point Trail.

Yeah, HD made me homesick again.  :D :p ;) Way too rough and muddy for me and my rollator let alone the steep part!!!! :(

Awesome pics HD. Looks like an awesome trip. How far is the hike?

HD, that is BEAUTIFUL! Reminds me that today is the eight week anniversary of my knee replacement. In a few months my knee could handle it. Not so sure about the rest of me, but I can dream and look at your pictures again.

BEAUTIFUL!

Hey Bill...I have to put off the visit until next year...you have plenty of time to recoup and be there too. We could make it a khukuri hike...limit the thing to two knives only. (okay...sleeping and cooking gear too)

Nasty,

That would be do able.

Andy,

I'll have to check but I think it was around 15 miles total not counting side trips, but we only hiked 3 miles the first evening.

Very, VERY nice! That just took my stress level down a few points. Majorly beutiful country. :)

That is so cool. Last time I went on a trip like that was 1969, seriously. I am _way_ overdue.

Norm

WOW! Every time you post pics I think I need to move to that part of the country for a few years to check it out. Never lived over there or even visited for that matter. Never know.............I just might pull up and go..........I think it's the military itch in me.............have to relocate every couple of years:D  ;)

Very nice down your way Hollow, any wild piggies? I hear they can be encountered in that area.
