Thank you for the reply. I am definitely a user so a beautiful finish wouldn't last long anyway. I am not a fan of coated blades. My NMFBM is stripped. I think the comp finish looks like a great option. And no wait!
 
I wasn't a big fan of the handle pattern. Aside from that, the size and feel are tremendous!
 
Jeepnut, that's why they sell something called sandingpaper...
Just put some 240 or 320 pap+er to it and make them handleslabs smooth if you want too...

Man I completely disagree here. I freaking love the brick pattern. it's awesome imo. to each their own. I suppose that is why there are so many different knives with different options. something for everyone.
 
Mine is waiting in the US with all my other steel till enough accumulates to make it worth sending a box over... :)
