This is a Cambridge Sound System White Noise machine.
If you work in a cubical environment, these come in handy to drown out noise or conversations either to or from your neighbors.
I use one just like this one to help me sleep better at night due to my Tinnitus. You'll get the transmitter and 2 satellite speakers with all cordage. You also get some panels to mount the unit and speakers to a fabric cubical wall.
