Looks like it will be next payday. I cancelled the order and bought a custom model 6 from R.W. Clark.

I will get one, just can't decide on which configuration.
 
Got the version with aluminum handles. Fit and finish are as good as the japanese made Spydercos. Opening is smooth and no blade play in any direction. The liner is thinner than I like them though. Make the liner thicker and it would be one helluva knife.
 
Dennis - so your the one who bought the Model 6 - I was just thinking of getting it. Tell me how is it performing.
 
I love the model 6 I got from R.W. Clark. It makes for an excellent EDC fixed blade. Very comfortable, very sharp, and the S30V should perform excellently (I haven't had to sharpen it yet). Fit and finish are very good. I would recommend this knife to anyone looking for a fixed blade EDC.
