Sooo..

Quite a few years ago at Blade, Jerry had a contest at the induction dinner where a group of wives were asked questions about Busse knives. One of the questions was "How many Busses does your husband have?" Husbands had to write the answer ahead of time. I wrote down 28. Her guess was even lower than this. No way was I going to answer that question accurately. I'll bet I was not the only one.

Dont worry, studies show that the bigger Busse collection one can afford, the better their overall life is :)

I intentionally didn't ever count the exact number of Busse/Kin that I owned in total, only an estimated number, until recently after I'd sold a significant number of them. And was honestly terrified to even begin to add up the costs. Some things are best left a mystery.

I do know that with multiple dozens I still have, it's getting darn difficult to decide which to let go of next.

I tell my wife I lost all my Busse Knives in a terrible boating accident. And only keep 2 in the safe at home. The rest I bury all over the place so when the SHTF....I'll be like a squirrel diggin' up nuts.....lol.
 
Every time I think I have inventory done I remember where another blade is stashed. Getting to the point that I am going to need a dedicated knife room. Still looking for that perfect way to display all of them.

That literally just happened last night.... had to add a few more blades to the list.

seems never-ending!! they must spawn if you put a few together :rolleyes::rolleyes:

That’d make a GREAT investment!
(Like if you put a comp and a DC in a drawer together, they pop out extra coated blades after a few months)

I took a lesson from the Mother ship and use peg board in my "hardware store"
some pegs may have more than one knife on them though :)
