Well, I am not a big spender, but I have two Buck knives on the way and I am hunting for a Mayo. I think that I'll wait until my birthday to tell the wife. ;)

If I want a $800 knife, but I can't afford $800 at the moment, I just buy two $400 knives.

Hoo Rah!!!

Thats what I call Voodoo Economics. I like it!

After 6 months of exhaustive online rampage here i managed to gather ZT Mudd, Spydie Millie Orange, Kershaw Talon 1421st, HEST Dpx Folder,British Army Knife and hopefully a Higonokami in Aogami steel, i finally set folder collection to rest.

I collect mostly khukuris from Himalayan Imports as well as Torablades and one Camp2 from Jeremy Horton but it all have to be put to rest as my plastic limit is reaching red alert.

I won't say stop but i have to pause for a longer trip. :(

I have to say that I love that line of reasoning!!

Just sat down to figure up what I spent so far.

I had planned one knife, the KW's Exclusive BM 805 TSEK. Those are having to go back to BM to have the correct handles installed. That is good for me as I was going to have to put it off until January anyway.

So far it is up to $1,125.00, counting overnight shipping for each of the three items!:(;) When you got to have them, you got to have them!!

Two custom folders, and a flashlight.

Gonna' stop now!:D

Budget? What is that? It's been a little absurd lately for me. Just got my Yuna in which is the priciest folder I've purchased to date (and worth every penny). Then Scrapyard decides to stock a few black paper Ratmandu's.......Couldn't resist those! But hey, it's Christmas right? I had to buy something for me too.

No matter what knife I'm interested at the time and want it to be my last , it never is. Someone comes out with something that blows me away and I got to get it. Everyones' got their hobbies....ours is knives :D
Same as anything else, you gotta pay the rent , eat, drive , etc. As long as you got money left for priorities and some saved....buy knives !

I go over every month. I have learned this cool trick. Its called beat your wife to the mailbox and hide the bank statement. 8-)

Becker BK-4 Machax
Becker BK-3 Tac Tool
Becker/Ritter BK-12 Pre Order
Spyderco C36GP Camo Mil
Busse SAR 3
Busse SAR 6
And I was just notified I could Pay for my SW RatManDeux!
Now I have to buy a gun (or two) ,to keep the balance.

I just bought
RMD +sheath
M9+ sheath
Fallkniven TOR
Dogfather.

I'm probably going to end up selling at least one of them because I'm flat broke now.

How's this for blown out of the water?
I bought 7 cf s90v para 2's and a half a dozen other knives, shish!

I actually slowed down my knife buying during the middle of 2010, but picked up the pace by the last few months of the year and haven't slowed down.

The good thing is after reading this thread I don't feel as bad....:)

I saw this thread then thought about trying to tally up how much I've spent in the past couple months on knives. Then I thought - Naaahhh!

. . . Ignorance IS bliss! :D
