  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Sore, Tired, and Getting ready to clean ma gear.....

Glad everything went well, looking forward to hearing all the stories and seeing some more pics. Did anyone get any vids on the classes by chance...

no one gets to hear "all" the stories... :)
the drive home was hellish, and we left before Moose passed out the bottles for the top shot contestants, but Jack definitely earned his prize on that one!

Very true , Jack earned it. Not just for the top shot contest, but more of a gift for dealing with us hooligans all weekend.

Yeah Im going with that one. "I dont know what you are talking about, maybe you should talk to Moose."

I'm guessing the Moose will add photos when he is back to normal. I'm really curious about the broken FFG BK-16. I'd like to see a normal photo of both pieces, and a closeup of the break cross section itself, showing the inclusion. It would be good to know how small of a stress riser it takes to cause failure at ~RC 57. What kind of stress on the blade caused it to snap?
But we know that hardened tool steel is inherently brittle, and these things can and do happen, though luckily not that often. This is probably why the Army or maybe just the Rangers have the saying "Two is one, and one is none." Fortunately it looks like Moose had a BK-5 for backup. Hell of a "backup" blade, eh?

Sounds like a great time was had by all, and maybe a little too much of a good thing for some. Wish I had the $$ to have gotten there, but there's always next year. I'm happy for all who did. Stay safe all.

There was absolutely ZERO need to remove the scope caps on that ''heater''...

I also feel no shame losing that shooting comp to Jack LOL! That was DAMN fine work on his part.

Thanks Moose, I had a blast, I liked the Drinkin With Moose Class.......I think I have an advanced degree in Corn Likker from Moose University now.

Moose, you're way to hard on yourself. The class was super-informative and you did a great job keeping your cool and continuing with the course.

Psy, I'm not sure I'm ready to see you again with just your boxers, but it's good to know you're always packing a Becker!:D

And a BIG thank-you to everyone that let Christine and I use the pistols and long guns. We don't often get a chance to fire that stuff up here in Toronto.

Seriously fun times with much learning! Can't wait for the fall!
