Sorry guys, it looks like I got 'em all!

Right. What Progunner said.
I just want see how many are there, and toss them all right back.
I know I'm not the only one doing this.
I guess I'm just as curious as the next guy.

These are 2 emails I got earlier so you all decide if its just a game or your making life harder on them keeping the store inventory correct.

thanks for you comments concerning the busse company store. it is a major pain in the arse to try to keep our products for sale when folks are playing cart games like a bunch of school kids. maybe they will listen...
take care,
vicki

the store does not have a software glitch, we purposely added 150,000 badgers just to see who would cart them and talk about it.
anyhow, gnite,
skunk

I think they are to nice to say it so I will say it for them
Stop Screwing with their Livelihood,

If any of you do any type of online selling and have a real e-comerce site you know that it is both expensive and time consuming to get it properly set up and they can be finicky beasts. If you have everything carted you are costing them sales as no one else can buy during that time, and if multiple people are doing it, it can screw up the inventory numbers as the system tries to track it all as it is coming and going.

Good to know Micky. I wish Scott and Vicki had said something as I am sure no one was doing any of this stuff to screw with them and mess with their business. They do this community a great service by extending the buying period for many blades beyond the offering of the direct shop, making it easier for new comers and veteran Hogs alike to snag some INFI. Micky, while I appreciate your passion regarding the issue, I caution you to temper it. No need for bad blood where there isn't any intent to harm. Strabs is a good guy and well know to many here, especially the Hogs from round 1. I am sure he meant no harm to Scott and Vicki.

Scott and Vicki, please feel free to admonish the community if someone here is doing stuff that makes life more difficult at the Co. Store. You guys work hard and have incredible service, screwing with your carts and inventory is no way to show appreciation. Being that I am technologically retarded, I personally wouldn't know that it monkeys with your system to put an arbitrary number in the Qty. to get a cost or to see if that number is available, but I can say that when I have considered buying several of one blade, carted them and then changed my mind, I have be sure to empty the contents of my cart. I don't know if folks are just loading their cart and leaving it to time out or what, but I apologize on behalf of all the Hogs if any of us have caused problems.

Yeah, I can see why messing with the carts could cause problems. It's one thing to cart one or two items, but carting half the store or hundreds of items doesn't serve much purpose beyond humour, and the joke gets old pretty quickly, I think.

There are technical solutions for this type of thing, though. For example, cart size limits. There's really not many valid reasons why any one customer (regardless of how they're identified - IP, cookie, whatever) should be able to cart the entire store, or dozens of the same item, even. This would also slightly mitigate the issue of people buying huge stockpiles of INFI only for the purpose of selling them away at a profit on eBay.

"the store does not have a software glitch, we purposely added 150,000 badgers just to see who would cart them and talk about it.

...and it worked, no?

Scott and Vicki, if I caused any inconvenience by what I started let me know. I am more than happy to come out there and help around the house while the BCS is being repaired. I'm not a great cook, but I can clean really well;)

I hope nobody left that quantity sitting in a cart... But Micky, Vicki, & "Skunk, it seems that I owe you all an apology...

'Skunk & Vicki... I'm very sorry for any inconvenience that I directly caused by my turn in seeing how high the count would go with the BATACLE's at the Store.
...AND by downplaying this in response to your post,Micky... I apologize to you, too.

No more monkey business from me over there from now on. :o

Again, I'm sorry guys.

Jaxx
