Oh well.......contrary to all the reports--I don't read every single post every single day.

Time heals all wounds.

Ah......now I see the value of it.....in posing knives in interesting ways like sticking them to rocks.

Yes, I'll have to get some of that stuff.

Far more versatile than coins and arrowheads and bits of wood.

:)

Yes that works also, here is my real intention for its use by you. 300

Photo one is flat knife, underlights

Photo two is knife supported by mouldable eraser aka Silly Puddy about half way up
Image2.jpg

Photo three is knife supported pretty close to vertical, notice how the blade is reflecting the dark background behind the camera
Image3.jpg

This shows its use in getting the look you want, or showing in best view the thing you want to show.....this shows the swedge on the top of the blade changing going from photo 1 to 3....that might be important in some way in your future.....sometimes it is easier to move the knife than the camera.....

I agree. I sometimes use various bits of this and that to tilt knives, but they tend to have not enough degrees of adjustment or they'll tip over or something.

But, something you can mold to offer infinite angles is clearly better.

Fun-tac, fun-tack, BlueStic, museum puddy all are used to stick stuff. Usually papers to walls. But some grades of the museum stuff is used to mount something valuable that you will have to wrestle with to steal off its display stand, even comes in clear. Might be useful in making a knife display.

I noticed that Locktite and Dap both make the blue stuff. I use kneadable eraser made by Staedtler. Found at the Lobby for Hobby's. Or other drafting and drawing/art supply stores. Blue stuff at mart store. My teacher wife says blue is the most sticky the yellow and white versions less so 300
