SOS Orange Knives ?? I have a question .

I've seen some pics of these knives , but don't see too many come up for sale . I've been here for a while now , but sometimes still don't get the whole idea .

So I'm wondering , are these knives coveted as users because the bright orange handles might make them easier to find if dropped in the woods ? Or are they collected as safe queens because they are no longer available and where only made for a short time ? If YOU had one , would you use it or keep it in the safe letting th value increase ? Or will it even increase from what it is now ?

They didn't make enough of them. A bunch of us begged for them for years, they finally made them for a show and they sold out. The ganzaa didn't have a great selection. For example, the FFBMs and ADs sold out and weren't even offered.

Oh my god the horror.

I would lay a Busse with that nasty assed orange handle on the ground and pound on it with a 10 pound sledge untill the ugly popped off. I would then wrap the handle in duct-tape and call it an improvement.

I think that those bright neon handles are just about the ugliest things ive ever seen. And I love the color orange.

My biggest fear is to come across a grail of mine that is priced right that has those handles. I might have to pass on principle...then again it would be nice to literally bash those offensive handles to dust. Then burn the dust in a fire and piss on the ashes.

It's all good Rob . Oppinions are what I asked for . I have neither love nore hate for them . Just wanted to know what others thought .

As it turns out , I just noticed that there is an SOS BOSS Street for sale on the forum here at the moment (NO connection to me) , just sayin .

Anyway , it seems as in most cases oppinions vary as to weather they are for use or for collecting . Now someone correct me if I'm wrong here , but it looks like it has more to do with the model of Knife than the SOS color for collecting . I mean it seems like people would pick up an SOS Battle Mistress to collect , but would be more likely to use an SOS BOSS Street or Active Duty . Yeah ? No ? Maybe another drink would help :very_drunk:

I was very excited at Blade as I bought this no choil SOS BOSS Jack LE for my son to grow/earn his way into since orange is the color that fascinates him most. I may send it in for some blue liners to give it the right thickness though.
