Some really neat work by Dave (SOT) on this Strider SnG. For details of the customization, it is probably more efficient to link to the original sales posting fromc USN on 9/30/08 (I hope Dave nor anyone else minds):

If you are not a USN member, see the next post for some details.

I have added some photos I took today.

Please note that in the last pic, the blade looks off center. the blade is well centered. I just took the photograph at a bad angle (sorry). The knife has been lightly carried. I see little, if any, signs of blade usage after Dave put the fresh edge on it. Maybe it was used to cut some paper, fruit or something, but not that I can tell. I do not have the original pivot which was replaced by Dave. Here's to his work!

Price is $465.00 including insured USPS Priority shipping. Add $15.00 for Paypal fees. Thanks for looking.

For non-USN folks, here are some details from the SOT (the customizer):

This is started out as a Gen 6 tanto SNG with coyote brown G10. I did the pimp work which includes the following:

Full groove wrap
Trisula grind on spine
Bronze anodized Ti
Replacement pivot - this ones just soo smooth...
Talked nice to it, and rubbed it with oil
Fresh edge

Also, here is a link to his website:

(Dave does not mind me linking to his website. I am certain of that. :)). The actual knife appears in the rolling flash in the upper right hand corner of the home page.
