Today i was soldiering some 416 ss bolsters to 410 ss witch is a pain in the B** for me so i tride somthing that helped.
First i heated the bolster up after i fluxed and got it hot enough to melt the soulder and i brushed the bolster and melted soulder with a ss brush and to my supprise the ss tined all overwith a little pushing around.
Next i tried to get it to stick to the 410 liner so i clamped the two togather and heated the bolster after adding flux and it worked a nice silver line all around and it was easy!!!!!!!!!!!.
I hope this helps some of us that are having trouble sodering S S.
