Sounds Like Buck Will End Manufacture of the 110 50th at the end of the year.

It sounds like Buck is putting a definite ending date of manufacture on the Buck 110 50th Anniversary Series.

I hope it works out this way so we don't have the usual overlapping years. (and I can stop buying 50th Anniversary 110's) :)

The 50th production did start earlier than January 1st, 2014…but that made for some fairly rare collectables.

I don't think there would be any rare collectables going past December 31, 2014 because they have the Anniversary 110 pretty much standardized now.

The following statement was copied and pasted from their Facebook page;

"Get them while you can!! The Folding Hunter 110 50th Anniversary editon will only be produced through the end of December."

I bought one in a gunshop this past week - boxed on 1-2-14, first anvil tang stamp, and black leather sheath (all for $40 Bucks!) OH

Production of the Cabela's Alaskan Guide 110 with 50th tang markings hasn't hit stores yet. It is an anomaly in the 50th lineup. Look for it in a few stores after the middle of this month. Mark you can relax because I am on it.

Just got one today, I've been eyeing it for a couple months now. Its my first 110. Haven't got to use it yet. But out of the box I'm impressed, nice solid knife.

This should mean the big stores will clearance out the 50th for cheap, hopefully

Stumps, mine has the shield - looks just like the one I bought at Dick's (except Dick's knife came in a blister pack with nylon sheath). I'll get a picture of the ensemble together. OH

That's exactly like the one I got at Menard's (like Home Depot or Lowe's) this summer, but mine was blister-packed. Good price — and a leather sheath. Happy, happy, happy.

Just a time tested, cool, classic blade. If you don't get one now, chances are you'll kick yourself later! A Buck 110 is never a mistake. And Christmas is just around the corner, down the bend.

I too am looking for the Alaskan Guide 110 with 50th tang stamp. If I locate some I will pick up a few. One for me and the others for who ever wants one or two.

I'm relaxed Stephen (as I'm pacing the floor, biting my finger nails and my left eye is twitching uncontrollably) :)

Got my first 50th 110 today. I really like the scales deep rich color no medallion. The box shows a birth date of 11/18/2013. The model # is 0110BRSCB-B. Question, what is CB in the model number?

Bucktool, I like your small anvil where can I get one...

Your 110 is 2 days older then my finger groove one...

:)

Armand…your "50/USA" finger groove with no shield on the right is one of the rarest of the 50th anniversary 110 variations out there.
I remember seeing that only 240 of those were produced…glad you have one of them!:thumbup::thumbup:

I think it for Cabela's... I got mine from the big box store (Wally) and from a first...

:)
