Source for 8-9 eyelets????

I am looking for a source for 8-9 eyelets and not knifekits or Texasknife. I want to buy them in bulk. I have found a lot but they are all plain brass with a $150 black plating charge. Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe a long shot, but a long time ago (like 10 or 12 years ago) Tandy used to sell them in bulk. I remember looking at a bag of 1000 black painted brass for 40 or 50 dollars at one of their stores. No way could I use that many so I whined at the clerk to break the bag and sell me 100. He wouldn't.

I'm not trying to hi-jack your thread. I've always been bugged that I couldn't find eyelets that were long enough for 3 or even 4 layers of kydex. I don't like the Chicago screws or some of the other screws/hardware used to fasten multiple layers. They're usually ugly or too bulky. I just want a nice, low profile eyelet for integral molded belt loops.
