If you attach it to another strip of metal, either with screws or silver solder, you'd have a nice looking clip that could be sewn or riveted into a sheath.
Paul Long has those clips. At least he did. I have bought several from him.
I don't have his contact information handy but he is a member here. I believe he goes by sheathmaker.
