Finding that piece might be a pretty tall order, maybe someone at one of these links might be able to help (they are all good folks):

You might see if a local silversmith could make a piece for you.
A lot of the techniques used by folks that make Western style jewelry (ie. belt and shirt collar tips) would be handy also.
