Source for precision ground steel; I need .080 or there'bouts in O1, or some sort of 10 series steel. This is to make Jeep parts.... (WW2 jeeps).

TIA, mitch

Try 15n20 from Aldo. It comes in thin sheets like you want and in my experience is always very flat as it is made for bandsaw blades.

@JTknives also sells 15n20 so you may want to ask him if he has some in stock.

Victor Machine, out of New York has precision ground 01 in 5/64" by 1 3/4" 2 1/2" and 3" You can get it in 36 inch lengths.
Good people to deal with. I've ordered from them for many years. 5/64 is 0.078125 They have other standard sizes from 1/64 1/32 all the way thru 2" thick. Web site below. Ask for Mark.
