Source for WIDE 1095/1080???

I've gone through all the online suppliers I can think of. Anyone know of a source for 1095/1080 in 1/8 or 3/16 that is wider than 2"??? I need some like 2 1/2 to 3" or so for a project.

I you check this .pdf, it shows 1095 in 3/16" x 3". The last time I ordered from them they were able to get me other sizes as well. I think they put the "norms" so that it is easier to get an idea of the expected cost. Give em a call. They might be able to find you some 1/8" in that width too.

No worries. I had a similar dilemna a while back and Admiral was able to hook me up with what I was looking for. I should note however that the package took two months to get to me. UPS's fault though, not Admiral's. When I told my Admiral sales rep what was going on she called UPS directly and the package was at my door the next day. They have earned my trust for the time being. Good luck.
 
I have had custom cuts from admiral before, I know I ordered some 6" wide and maybe even some 8". This was in 1/4" stock though.

Admiral will usually shear it to the size you need. If not, let me know and I can cut you a piece from one of my sheets. I get it in 24"x48".
 
Will, we were very happy with your little neck knives why bothering with wider stock ? :D;) Is there a huge camp knife or an ulu on the way? Good luck with your new project...

I just got a 60" x 12" x 0.125" piece of 1075 from Admiral, and a piece of 19" x 48" x 0.125" piece from McMaster Carr.

Admiral was a phone request, McMaster Carr was a stock size (listed as 17.5" x 48").
