:
I can vouch for Moscow Hide & Fur.
They're good people. I bought the otter skin for my ndn dance outfit sight unseen from them and it was exactly as they described.
I also have several friends that have had good dealings with them.
And they're pretty reasonable compared to some of the places that sell stuff for ndn and rendevous regalia.
I've gotten lots of it from eBay, but prices on whitetail and elk have gone WAY up since the sambar ban. Now I just go through a local guy that has a spot at the flea market. I'll see if he has a card and takes mail orders next time I go. He only charges around $2-5 for a crown piece, as I recall.
North American Antler has more than you could ever want. I have driven down there and picked material out by hand. I got several pieces that are a beautiful shade of white and look like walrus ivory when finished.
I have their card in the shop, I'll get the contact info for you.
I bought a bunch of Elk spikes (Which were perfect for hidden tangs) from this gentleman. He is a great guy and has very reasonable prices. : "Nathan Jacobson" <alpineantlers@hotmail.com>
