Those were the spacers that inspired me to make this one. :)

Nice, different approach than the Southard, really compliments the Umnumzaan in looks and functionality. I like how the blocks extend over the frame for support. good work

I'd like to get on a list for one of these as well. If they're for sale & not terribly expensive, I'll bite!

Wow! Great work Haze! If I could get on a list, I'd want one for a large regular sebe, and probably for an Umnumzaan too (I don't have an Umnum yet, but when I do get one, I would love to throw one of these back spacers on it!). Looks awesome.

Haze, do you think you can make one that continues around the bottom of the handle more like the other one?
Are yours made with titanium?
I think you should have a nice list here for a group buy.

Oh great, now I need one to!

I'll take one for my large regular and one for my Umnumzaan and one for my soon to be acquired 25.

Thanks guys.

Those all look great. I've been looking for a backspacer for my Lrg Seb for some time now.

Wow! Thoes do look great. Would love two for a small Sebenza and one for a large Sebenza.

Some industrious person needs to market these. I'll take one.

You could go to a local machine shop with the right design and have them made. Check for the price breaks and I'd bet 50 would be reasonable otherwise to have one made would be expensive.

Seriously, I want a couple of these. If anyone has any luck tracking them down or Haze decides to make a few I'm in and willing to be generous.

Teaser pics. Large............and I am still looking. I bet Barry H.could knock some of theese out in no time:D.

Don't count on that. One needs a mill to do these. PLEASE DO NOT SOLICIT ME TO MAKE THESE< ASK BRAD SOUTHARD>

I specialize in scales, ok?

I do have a question about these. Are these friction fit? I only see one pillar going through the spacer. One would think it could just spin unless it is a very tight fit and what is that going through the lanyard hole? is it a part of the back spacer?

The Brad Southard spacers are secured by the original spacer screws and the pin going through the lanyard hole. I was never happy with that set up so I set about designing the one you see that I made. The spacer that I made is not going to be produced in any numbers untill I can figure out a way to make them that is less labour intensive. I see questions about taking the spacer round the butt of the knife and adding glass breakers and that either has or can be done but there is still the same buts.....

I will say that folks need to hold their horses here, I am not able to sell stuff that I make through the forum as I do not have the correct knife makers member ship. That will change soon but untill then the talk of group buys and sales is not something I can entertain.

This my original spacer thread with a few other pics and some words....
