Does anyone know of a Website or where to get more info on the upcoming Southeastern Custom Knife Show? It is happening in Winston Salem NC and I think the dates are Sept 9th & 10th, but I am hoping to get a tentative list of Makers that will be attending. Any info is appreciated.

Ya know, that site doesn't list the makers who'll be in attendance, but I *think* I still have last year's list if you'd be interested in that. If so, drop me an e-mail.

Also, the NC gang will be there in full force for both days of the show if you're interested in meeting some fellow forumites. Heck, between all of us, we might have more knives with us than the makers do!

When you walk in the doors, make a right down the first aisle. At the end of the row, turn left. Go three tables down, stop and look to your right.

That is where Bob Neal and I will be set up.

We generally bring a fair selection of knives to the show.

PS, love the Sniper motto. As a Army trained Sniper I love the irony in the quote.

a lot of talented makers from around NC will be there, as will Darrel Ralph and (I think) Ed Halligan. Our own Jerry Hossom (whatever happened to him lately??) was there last year. Dealers, besides Les and Bob, include Pen & The Sword, Hank Rummell, and Koval Knives to name a few. Because SECKS falls on the same weekend as the Blade Show west, some makers/dealers may opt to go out west instead of this one. Hopefully, this year's SECKS will be a good one.

BTW, there will be some great makers from out west at the show. Check out Rob Patton. He's forging swords (among other things) and they are outstanding.

Hi yall Redbeard I know what you mean I got called Caveman Engraving for the last two years, but this year they sent me back to the engineering dept. I told them I just could not buy more tools. I will be at W-4 first left at the entrance,stop by lets talk knives and fables, im like Redbeard, something bout all these names and no faces. I think I woke up in a movie where everybody looks like a computer terminal.See Ya Then!!

This will be my first time to the SECKS.... and after reading the posts of all these, dare I say it, Mentally Challanged Knife Makers I'm starting to wonder what I will be in store for!!

On second thought, I know that I'll be buying alot of Great Knives....... so watching the Sideshows will just be an added Bonus!!
