Southeastern Custom Knife Show

My 5 months of unemployment dictate that I sell $6,500 worth of knives at our table. That being said, I hope to walk away with a Denning and a BIG-HONKIN' Hossum bowie! Gus, one of the highlights of the show will be when we finally meet. Look near Kelly for someone larger and slightly uglier

Hey Guys,
I'm new to NC and would love to meet up with some fellow forumites and other NC knife nuts at this show. How would I recognize you guys so I can introduce myself.
Later,
Troy

Troy,

Search on "Bubba" in the general forum around early August or March. You should be able to find the pictures from our gatherings in Charlotte.

You could also look for the guy with the biggest neck knife - that will be DavidB

Well, as I said, I SHOULD have been saving up some money, since I saw about 30 different knives I would have dropped some coin on in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, I didn't have the cash, so I was just an window shopper hovering around people's tables and asking questions. Ooooh, it pained me to pick up, then have to put back down, all the beautiful works of functional art that I saw there. Unfortunately, I did NOT get to meet Darrel, but did talk with his son for a bit. Also Alan Folts, Jerry Hossum, and a bunch of forumites (all hovering around Senator and David415(?)'s table); what a great bunch of guys!

What an awesome first custom knife show (for me). Now I'm totally hooked on custom knives, and I'm afraid I'm well on to my next stage of the sickness (pretty and functional). I'm REALLY looking forward to the Timonium show now!!!

Rockspider, it was great meeting and chatting with you. Knife shows are about 2 things. Selling knives is one, but the greater quest is getting your batteries recharged. This was a fun show with some great folks on both sides of the tables.

BARRY! DAMN, what an IDIOT I am!!! I KNEW I would miss someone if I started trying to rattle off names, but I can't believe that I dropped yours from the list!

People, the Jones's are some great guys!!! Well, I didn't get to meet Phillip (sorry if I spelled that wrong), but Barry definitely, so I'm sure Phillip is, too.

That little neck knife (the utility type one) is one that I can't get off my mind!

Hopefully you and/or Phillip will be up at Timonium as well. I'm saving my money even as we speak.... well, type....
