Has anyone been to the Southern California Blades show taking place in Pasadena CA this March? I will be getting a table there but was hoping to hear from some of you who have attended in the past. I am told it is an annual show that has been taking place for over 20 years.

Can't wait to meet you Mark! Unless I'm out of town for work, I'll be there (hopefully with a small entourage of tag-alongs).

I went to the Pasadena show for the first time last year. Some good displays. a good variate of knife makers present. From some guys with some real talent to euro-trash selling junk. I was disappointed in the suppliers that were there. All there stock looked like the leftovers that they couldn't get rid of all year. I went with a grand to buy handle stock and came back with all of it.

You cannot be serious!!! K&G has three tables and I set up with 1 and a half tables of the finest stabilized burls and exotics to be found anywhere.

EDIT: Tru-Grit and Giraffebone, Inc. were also both there. Ivory, bone, wood, Ironwood burl, pearl. We must have been at different knife shows.

Be sure to bring your $1000 this year. Between Larry and myself you will leave wishing you had brought more.

I went for the first time last year. It was a nice show and there were a lot of awesome knives. I was also hoping for more suppliers, but did end up with a few things.

This year is the 25th anniversay show and it should be a good one. I will definately be there. I'll stop by and say hello.

I send a lot of wood to Southern California so maybe now I will get a chance to meet some of you guys in person. Plus, after the show I'll get to visit the grandkids in San Diego.

Hello Mark,

I've been the last couple of years. Looking forward to meeting you there.

Eric

Just found out that I have a two month out-of-town gig that starts a week before this show. :(
