Southern Grind Bad Monkey

All the models of bad monkey's appear to have the EM Wave feature on them standard? I'm so about to grab one it just seems to be my grail, as far as a folding tanto:)
 
Unless it has changed recently, only the carbon fiber scaled models have the "wave". I specifically asked them if the G10 did also before I bought from them and they said they weren't currently making them that way, no further explanation was given (I would imagine that it would have to with licensing the wave). It didn't really matter because they were willing to put one together for me the way I wanted.
 
What's the deal between carbon fiber and G10 anyway? Does G10 have a better grip? I only own knives with G10 scales, and pistol holsters with regular kydex. Curious about what the deal is with carbon fiber handle scales?
 
I just got my Bad Monkey from Whitty (great experience by the way). I love this knife so far. It's a prettier and more refined Emerson without that stupid chisel grind. Like someone else said, you can wave the G10 models pretty easily with some practice.
 
Nice one man! Cowboy did you grab a Tanto or drop point Bad Monk? I just placed a grab from Witty for one o them blue/purp ano'd tanto Bad Monkeys. Witty is def a pleasure to business with real quick on the reply and ship. I'm really excited to get this knife!

Carbon fibre is much lighter, and can still be sculpted for good grip.

I got the tanto with the jade G10 and pink/purple liners. I haven't had the knife long, but so far I love it. May or may not replace the pocket clip though.
 
Yayerrrs, my Mon key Shipped today, I'll have it monday, but I'll be out working so I prob won't get a chance to get to my mailbox before Wednesday. ..ugh, I'm dying to grasp this friggin filthy ape!
 
That .25 in" of sharpened swedge on the Bad Monkey Tanto tip is just all the sweetness I could ever hoped to have on a feature on a tanto like this here blade, and a Wave, and my favorite color anodized liners, carbon fibre...ugh Bad Monkey you...in my hand nyaoww!
 
Got my Bad Monkey in the post from Witty after I got in from work, I love this thing it's great quality and it feels great in the hand I am really happy with this knife, respect to Southern Grind and Witty!
