The one thing I've discovered in the last 2 weeks of EDC'ing my Bad Monkey is (though I really like the idea of the short clip) is that without a full length clip accessing the knife gets fumbly, and it doesn't come out in a "firing" grip, if you know what I mean. Replaced it with a spare Emerson clip (they fit perfectly).

I have the Spider Monkey and I love it. The fit and finish is some of the best I have seen from a production knife. It's better than some mid-techs I have owned, and I have owned quite a few. The knife opens smooth, has good ergos for a smaller knife, and S35VN is a good all around steel that I have had good experience with. I have nothing bad to say about it.

Is that a factory knife or did you customize it

What Handel material is that one didn't see it in their selection

Carbon fiber. It is the Spider Monkey, the smaller of the two folders. The large version is the Bad Monkey and the cf is different.
