Hi All, up for sale is my Southern Grind Spider Monkey with a stonewashed S35VN blade and textured CF scales. I'm the 2nd owner, having bought it last June LNIB. The knife has been carried and used some, but is in excellent condition.
The blade has been resharpened to a polished 15 degree per side secondary with a 20 degree micro bevel on the EdgePro and is wicked sharp. Unfortunately, some slurry got behind the cheap tape I used when sharpening and left light scratches/scuffs toward the edge from the belly forward on the clip side. You can see them in both the broad shot and close up of that side, which was taken to expose them, but note that they don't show up in the edge detail shot. They hide pretty well in the medium stonewash and don't jump out at you in day-to-day use.
Lock-up and centering are spot on with no play in an direction. The carbon fiber scales are in great shape. The action is smooth and the blade flicks out easily. This is a nice piece and a great little EDC knife, but isn't getting any use lately, so it's time to find a new home. Includes box and whatever else came with it.
These are selling new at around $225 at online dealers. SOLD--Paypal G&S fees and shipping by USPS Priority Small Flat-Rate Box included. Shipping to CONUS only, though I will consider sales to Canada at additional cost with the buyer assuming all risks involved with Customs. You must be at least 18 years-of-age and know your local knife laws in order to purchase. Please post "I'll take it" in the thread followed by a PM or email if you want it. Please feel free to contact me with questions or offers. I do reserve the right to sell to whom I chose and expect prompt payment to secure the knife.
No trades at this time, please, as I'm trying to raise cash for another purchase. Thanks for looking.
