If you have a question about it, and its out of your pocket already, send it to get it sharpened. It will get cleaned and checked over before I put an edge on it.

Hmmm... had the same occurrence a couple times when the knife was in the bottom of the pocket.

I wonder if the thumb stud, or possibly that jimped nub just above it, is dragging the inside of the pocket on the way out?

Carrying it clipped might solve this issue, but I'm partial to just dropping a knife into the bottom of my pockets.
