Southern Kindness

JWH,
I'm from Washington Parish, right outside of Franklinton. I married a Cajun too! Small world!

We always went to the Washington Parish Fair, mainly to see Asleep At The Wheel. We have friends and relatives throughout Tangipahoa, St. Tammany and Washington Parish. I remember 1 year everybody at the fair claimed to see a UFO. To keep it on track I'm pretty sure I always had a traditional of some sort in my pocket.

Thanks for the link Frank, fascinating site, I love to learn about other cultures and cuisines, and have long been interested in the Cajun people and their historic forebears, the Acadians.

You're welcome. I had read where Jack Black didn't have a single Sod Buster and I felt he needed one. :o A couple of days after I sent the package, his thread where his girlfriend got him a few Sod Busters appeared. :o At least she didn't get him the same one I did. :D

Enjoy the knife and the Tony's!

BTW, it was getting close to a month since I sent it before you got it. Man overseas is slow!

Woodrow kind Sir - thats was a hang of a neat thing to do, I have one Sodbuster left, NO - sorry two!, one an older German wooden handle, the other a Carbon '70's Minter large Sodbuster-Love, but like a lot of my knives haven't got to use 'em much! the Case is so Mint I am a we bit scared as its such a beaut!

But back to the subject..thank you Woodrow for being so great, and Jack is such a deserving, thoughtful person, well deserved JACK!!!

Congrats on the Case and good one Mr. Call

Mine's gotten a workout, though now it's sharing time with the new Puma I won from Steve (RetiredGuns). I gotta be careful, as my younger son was eyeing up the Puma. Every time my boys start asking me to "borrow" something of mine it tends to end up theirs....how does that happen ;)

Way to go Woodrow!!! Very nice gesture. Congrats Jack, it'll be fun to see pictures of the soddie in the future

Well, ya inspired me, I had to shake a bit of Tony's on my ham and egg sammich last night. I have to say it still works. :p
