Yep, it is. One of those clayless auto-hamons. I left the hamon undeveloped, but catch it in the light and it shows...very active.

I'm the proud new owner of this cutter. I am an old AF special projects type- used and own a lot of different knives and when I saw Ben's work at last years show in Little Rock I saw something special and ask him to make one for me. Received it today and it is the best I have ever handled for this type of knife. Balance is perfect! I wanted a working knife and this one fits the bill to a T. Thanks Ben and I really look forward to seeing your work at next years competition.
