Sow

Love the handle Russ

Yes Sir, the G-Rex is a great pattern and for those of us with large hands it really fills the void. The Grip above I know was used on a DCBB SFNO and then this SOW. I really like the Bumble Bee G-Rex and it's one reason I've held on to this one for quit a while now and don't intend for to leave my hands. What would have been the cat's meow is to take a NMSFNO and give it a SOW style blade, SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET:D

SOW was a great blade. They dont seem to show up that often though. Guess it just means those that have them arent letting them get away.

Garth, I think that it's an under appreciated variant. For the most part, those that still have them still love them, but they never really sold well on the secondary market for those that wanted to pass them on until very recently...and I think that this is because you can't see all the extra work that went into the SOW in a single photo or 2. Between the recurved blade, the distal taper (one of the rare Busse models with this), the swedge, the nicely sharpened edge, and the really beautiful satin finish, it really is every bit worth its price. I still have all mine, brother! :)

Sorry for the crap photos. They were uploaded to PB back when they used to compress larger pix and they took all the detail out of these. :(

Alex,

Great pics no matter what you say Brother!!! The true Santa-SOW is really a Great looking knife:cool:. I always like the the bottom two you have pic'ed. Agree with Garth in that the SOWs don't show up often cause they are a very coveted pattern.

jaxx my brother......you're killin me smalls!

Great pictures guys. Thanks for sharing them.

Bought 5 SOWs right out of the shop. Dumped a couple at cost on the bay. It just happened that my grandson's first birthday coincided with the release so he has one to play with when he reaches the appropriate age. Still sitting on two unopened simply because if I used it I'd have to resharpen that sexy recurve. Too many other Busses to play with yet.

I'm still sitting on a pair of the original Christmas release SOWs. Unfortunately, the SOW has not been well valued on the resale market. Some regrets.

Always liked SOWs from when I first saw them.

It's one of those designs that, to me, I can tell without even holding it that it would work well in my hand.

Red handle or not, it works, but I like it in red. It's sexy! I can imagine my wife wearing one on Christmas morning, too.

The SOW was one of my Grails when I began collecting Busse's. I love recurves.

Thanks to a really nice Canadian Hog I have had one in my collection for some time.

I would love to see these brought back.......I would be all over a Satin SOW with Pumpkin handles.:eagerness:

I love the SOW! I hope they bring them back at .32 ! just kidding, she's perfect the way she is... not too thin and not too fat :). I do have a question for all of the hogs out there thought. Was the '07 special edition SOW longer than the santaganza SOW? Because I have a 07 SE and it's the same length as my SFNO le not .25 shorter.
