I sent in my Sebenza 25, which was received on 02 March for the full Spa Service. Received a call today advising it is on its way home. That's actually better than the 4-8 week advertised time. Can't wait!

Coincidentally, I sent my large 21 in for some work on the same date. I called them today and was told it's done. Spa treatment, new screws, etc. Be nice to have it back looking and working like new.

That's good to hear. Just today I sent off a small Insingo for the spa and double lugs.

What does the full spa service consist of and how much does it cost? Thanks in advance.

Warranty work even appears to be happening quite quickly. Sent in a Mnandi to have a Mammoth inlay replaced on the presentation side. They received it on March 11th and it was delivered to my door with a brand new inlay on the 23rd.

My large regular and small 21 was also received March 2 and are now on their way home! Can't wait to get see my babies!

CRK received my 25 on the 24th of Feb. for a warranty issue and I still have not received the call saying its ready to be shipped. Kinda bums me out that folks who sent their knives in for spa service are getting a faster turnaround. Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought warranty issues were given priority over spa service.

See my post above. Less than 2 weeks from CRK receiving my knife for inlay replacement to my getting it back. Perhaps your 25 needed more work than my Mnandi. I would probably call or email them for a quick status update. BTW, I never received an email or call from them telling me my Mnandi was on its way back to me. UPS just showed up at the door with it. Glad I was home, as it required a signature!

Have you just called CRK? They really are quite helpful on the phone.

Give them a call. I never received any communications from them, had to call for status. The warranty priority thing seems to be an assumption here. Don't know if CRK ever said it.

I have called twice. Once all they could tell me was that the lock bar needed to be re-heat treated. Second time they told me that my knife was probably in the back waiting to be finished but they could not tell for sure. Just to be clear, the email I received said it would take 4-8 weeks so im not complaining about service. I just find it strange that people have sent their knives in later than me and received them back before me for non-warranty services. Im sure it will be back in my pocket soon enough. The waiting is the hard part...

They received my small Insingo for spa, double lugs, new washers and pins on March 9. Angela called me 60 seconds ago for payment and shipping confirmation and it'll be on its way back to me. 17 days works for me.

I just got a call from CRK. My 25 is done and being processed for shipping. I guess mine just took a little longer.

I just got my CF 25 back today. It needed work to the lock face and a new brass washer on one side which causing the blade to be lightly (very) rubbing the CF scale. Looks good so far. It's not perfect but I was told it never will be with the CF scale on one side. The knife got to them last Thursday and I got it back this afternoon. That's lightning quick! Angela did say if it needed a blade replacement it would be more like 4 weeks because they do not stock parts (?) and warranty work receives priority over spa jobs.

gunner87,

If you have a CF scale the blade will not center? Could you please elaborate. I was thinking of getting a CF model and that might change my mind.

Thanks,
Jeff

What I was told was they may have one in 1,000 that come back for a blade not being centered due to a laundry list of things that could effect the CF scale and make the blade off center and mine I guess was one of those. I do think I am very much the minority here. Honestly, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. Also, the blade is much better than it was before after work to the lock face and washers. I also got a lesson regarding how much lube I use. Apparently, not enough...

Just sent my CF small sebenza off for a spa, double lugs and also the blade was not centered.
They received it today.
I was wondering what would cause the CF scale to make the blade off center.
I got it of ebay last week. It was so off the the blade rubbed the CF.
