This is a skinner that I recently made. Pretty thick material for the blade, but a full flat grind makes for a nice sharp skinner. The spalted sugar maple looks really good on the handle, with nice contrast to the red liners.

There's a nice hamon there, just hard to see in the pictures. One of the pictures show it pretty well, along with a lot of fuzz and lint, too.

Specs:
Overall length: 8 1/4"
Blade, tip to handle: 4 1/4"
Blade, cutting edge: 3 5/8"
Handle: Spalted Sugar Maple with red liners
Steel: 1095, 3/16" thick, hand-rubbed finish with hamon
Pins and thong tubing: 416 stainless steel

Price is $140 shipped to the US48, and that includes a leather sheath. Paypal preferred, but not a must.

Thanks for looking!

No, I'll make sheath when it's sold, so I'll know whether to make a righty or lefty... Sheath will be a leather pouch, or pancake style and tooled. I'd be glad to make customizations to the sheath per the buyer as well. Thanks for looking!

Outstanding pattern. Great figure on the wood as well. The blade shape looks like a great mix of a nessmuck, and a bull nose (like old hickory style).

Love it.

I will only ship outside the US or Canada if the buyer is willing to pick up the extra shipping charges and is willing to assume the risk of being lost in shipping or confiscated by customs.

Thanks, all, for the comments!
