Taiwan isn't the same as China, Bubba.
Taiwan is a multi-party democracy.
China isn't.
Japan is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary government.
China isn't.
China is a communist state. "The State" in the terrible Soviet sense of the word.
For me, those differences are important. Would I like it if all the knives I like were made in USA? Sure. Competition in many industries, including production cutlery makes that unfeasible, unfortunately.
If it comes to that, I'd like to be able to buy a American-made TV set.
You can be assured that all products labeled SOG are not produced in China.
Those are the magic words, guys!!
P.S. Santa just left me a 10 point infraction because of my
last post.

Anybody have a clue why? Santa claims it's "auction spotting", but it's not my auction and I wasn't even the first person to point the auction out. I thought I'd ask the crew here before running off to the community center and probably scoring another 10 point infraction for asking.
