OK, I'm back from watching the fireworks (Galveston Island). We just walked up to the Seawall at 75th and watched the show over 37th Street 38 blocks away. It rained all day but stopped in the late afternoon.

I havent even been down to the Lake yet this year to drag my ski boat out of storage.:barf:
Haven't rode my Harley near enough miles yet.:mad:

Last summer I crashed and broke my left leg at the ankle. :grumpy: That happened on June 8. It was September before I got to ride again! :eek: I am still catching up on lost miles from then!:o

Light rain started again at 9 am ,hasn't stopped.
More heavy rain tonight.Lakes were 18 feet below normal 2 months ago
now some 24 feet above normal.
Lakes were closed because of no water last year
now they are closed because of too much water.
I might have to put my bike in a boat
to ride it.

Couldnt find my wallet yesterday. :eek: Tore the house up and ransacked the car. :mad: Was convinced I lost it at Sams Club. :( Did a load of laundry of my stuff, found the wallet in my pants pocket in the wash. :eek: Soaked! :grumpy: Tossed it in the dryer with everything else. :( Its dry now.:D
