What would you do if you were handed a HTed spring and blade and told, "Here, make somethin out of these". Mr. Bose handed these to me a few weeks after we met and this is what I did with it.

It is a 3 1/4" gents knife with a Wharncliffe blade w/green jigged bone. Blade is D-2, spring is probably ATS-34. 410 SS bolsters and liners and domed pins. Since it was already HTed and couldn't be stamped, I just used a rotary diamond burr and scribbled my name on the pile side of the blade. This is going in my dads pocket on May 6th, his birthday :)

Man oh man, that's another nice one, Kerry! Happy dad come 6MAY!

Really nice looking bone and the shield really adds to the package.

That is a beautiful knife Kerry. Love the green bone and the wharncliffe blade. Nice size too. Thanks for showing that for us.

Thanks much guys. It's not "Bose Perfect" but I keep getting closer with each pass. It's a great feeling to finish one and feel them work nice. I'd recommend to any maker that is satisfied with their fixed blade work to take the plunge at the mechanical challenge that these little guys provide.

Very nice, Did you see my cokebottle challange post. I did complete a full size.

I just saw it...thanks for the heads up. I've been busy making knives and sheaths, go figure :)

Man Kerry, your work just keeps looking better and better. That's a nice piece and I'm sure your Dad will love it.

Kerry, you did right good on that one. Your dad is going to like it for sure. Great job!!!

Great job Kerry. See if you can borrow it back from dad to bring to Blade. I'd like to see it.
