Anybody have some 1050 to spare for sell or trade? Got a quote from admiral today that was OK, but wondering if I could find it anywhere else or from someone else.

What size round Dan? Is it new stock or like "hydraulic shaft" or "plow disc" or "crowbar"?

They range from 1/2" to 2-1/4". They were mold pins, I bought them from "steelshaper". Edit- aka Mr. Crump
edit-BTW they are only about 12" long.
Triple edit! I got your email, tomorrow night works fine for me, between noon and 9pm is fine. If nobody answers the phone I'm out working in the shop, try my cell.

Cool, i'll give yah a ring then.

Got a quote from admiral for 5/16ths by 1 inch by 10 foot, 56 pounds, 5 pieces for around 308$ shipped it will pay for itself but hard to shell out in one go.

That's kinda pricey, i mean in the long run the cost of steel is nothing compared to the blade but still. i have been looking for some 1050 as well as i have a sword project coming up once my cast is off. it just goes to show you that what goes into a steel does not have that much effect on steel cost, i mean i can get L6 new from crucible for around 2 bucks a pound in 1" round bar stock and then you look at that 1050 which is a very simple steel and its twice what the L6 is. I have been searching for a good source for 1050 if i find one i will let you know.
